Festival brings balloon science to Central Jersey schools
The Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning will be teaming with the Rainbow Academy Childcare Centers to provide local children with the unique opportunity to explore the inside of a 75-foot tall hot air balloon. The Festival will bring the balloon to the Rainbow Academy child care center. Children also will receive an age-appropriate lesson on the science of hot air ballooning. A similar event will be held earlier in the day at the Rainbow Academy child care center in Flemington, NJ.
It’s a unique opportunity for parents and children
This is the first of several events Rainbow Academy will be doing in conjunction with this year’s festival, the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America. During its Open House Week in July, the Rainbow Academy will offer touring families the opportunity to enter a drawing for the chance to win festival prizes, including hot air balloon rides and Volkswagen Blue Sky Club VIP tickets to the event in July at Solberg Airport. The child care center also will host families and guests for an outing at the festival on July 23.
Rainbow Academy Childcare Centers is family-owned and operated and serves 1,800 families throughout New Jersey.
